Sound Bites Sound Bites is a wholefood shop and local / radical information point. We sell locally grown organic fruit and veg bought direct from the farm to ensure a good deal for the growers. We also stock a wide range of food, drink, household and bodycare products all of which are selected according to strict ethical criteria. We have a particular emphasis on buying from small local businesses but we also stock fair trade goods and products which facilitate a low impact lifestyle, such as mooncups and real nappies. We have a deli counter and customers can eat in.
Sound Bites also has information boards about local events and campaigns and we produce a bimonthly newsletter (The Nibbler). We organise regular events in keeping with the overall mission of the business to improve access to ethical food. We have a meeting room upstairs which is available to hire at a minimal cost for campaigning groups and therapists.
